Laconia-----Mrs. Mazie E. Higgins, 69, a long time resident of Laconia, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, October 5, 2003. Mrs. Higgins was the widow of Ronald L. Higgins who died in 1997.
Mrs. Higgins was born May 17, 1934 in Rochester, NH, the daughter of Myron and Lillian (Page) Bennett.
Mrs. Higgins was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Laconia-Gilford. She was employed at Allen-Rogers for thirty years.
Mrs. Higgins is survived by a son, Douglas Higgins, of Laconia, NH. There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH. Rev. Dr. Victoria Wood Parrish, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
