Mary A. Bourassa

Laconia, NH---Mrs. Mary A. Bourassa, 80, of 175 Blueberry Lane and formerly of 9 Sargent Place, Gilford, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Saturday, October 25, 2003.

Mrs. Bourassa was born in Bristol, R.I., April 30, 1923 the daughter of Andrea and Domenichina (Albino) Florenzano. She had lived in the Lakes Region most of her life. She also lived in Bunnell, Fla., for a number of years.

Mrs. Bourassa was employed for many years at the Browning Laboratories, Inc. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years Gerard E. Bourassa of Laconia; 3 sons David Bourassa and his wife Nancy of Laconia, Andrew Bourassa of Warren and Stephen Bourassa of Marathon Key, Fla.; 2 grandchildren Michael Bourassa of Laconia and Angela Bourassa of Seattle, WA; one great-grandchild Jimi of Laconia; 3 brothers John Florenzano of Coventry, R.I., Anthony Florenzano and Peter Florenzano both of Bristol, R.I.; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Alphonse Florenzano.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday October 28, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Laconia Wednesday at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Adrien R. Langchamps, Pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
