George J. Lindquist, Jr. Gilmanton, N.H.-----George J. Lindquist, Jr., 83, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Saturday, May 3, 2008. Mr. Lindquist was born August 2, 1924 in Brockton, MA, the son of George J. and Ellen (Swanson) Lindquist and served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. After living in West Bridgewater for over forty years he spent the last ten years in New Hampshire. He was a truck driver for thirty-three years and was a member of the Teamsters Local 653. He is survived by four sons, George J. Lindquist III and Richard F. Lindquist both of Brockton, Robert C. Lindquist of Coeurdalene, Idaho and Raymond Lindquist of Gilmanton, N.H.; three daughters, Ann Marie Lindquist of Taunton, Kathleen McCann of Meredith, N.H. and Laura Bade of Chesapeake, Virginia; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a brother, Howard Donahue, of Raynham and a sister, Phyllis Richards, of Wareham. Mr. Lindquist was predeceased by his wife of fifty-seven years, Lorraine (O’Brien) Lindquist, and by two sons, Ronald P. Lindquist and Mark E. Lindquist. All services are private. Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements. |
