Gilford----Donald L. St. Germain, 76, of 312 Intervale Road, Gilford, died at Concord Hospital, Concord Saturday, March 15, 2003.
Mr. St.Germain was born September 2, 1926 in Manchester, NH the son of Omer and Lucienne (Payeur) St.Germain. He had been a resident of Gilford for the past 36 years coming from Manchester. He served in the US Navy during WWII.
Mr. St.Germain was the owner of R.A.C. Fleet Damage Appraisal for many years.
Mr. St.Germain was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Laconia.
Survivors include his wife Jeannette (Gagne) St.Germain of Gilford; 2 sons Donald St.Germain of Alabama and Michael St.Germain of Amherst, NH; 3 step-sons Peter Champagne of Newtown, CT., Richard Champagne and Greg Champagne both of Gilford; 3 step-daughters Denise Bivalacqua of Corona, Calif, Vivian Sargent of Belmont and Paula Champagne of Gilford; 5 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers Rev. Andre St.Germain of Pembroke and Robert St.Germain of Raleigh, N.C.; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a daughter Donna Lewis who died in 1999 and by a brother and 2 sisters.
Calling hours will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia Tuesday from 6-8 PM using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Laconia Wednesday at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Adrien Longchamps, Pastor of the church will officiate. Spring burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford,
