Henry B. Patten

Laconia------Henry B. Patten, 78, of 22 Joliet Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Friday, October 3, 2003.

Mr. Patten was born July 2, 1925 in Bristol, NH, the son of Karl and Margaret (George) Patten. Mr. Patten served in the U. S. Navy for eight years, during WW II and the Korean War, serving on the U.S.S. Boston. Mr. Patten moved to Laconia forty-seven years ago from Bristol and was a retired master carpenter.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Evelynne (Fleurent) Patten, of Laconia, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Felecia and Bill Doubleday of Tilton, NH; one beloved grandchild, Haigan Doubleday of Tilton, who shared Mr. Patten's birth date; two brothers, Albro Patten of Concord, NH; and Gerald Patten of Florida; a niece, Theresa Patridge of Tilton, NH and and a nephew, Charles Patridge of Gilford, NH. He was predeceased by a brother, George Patten.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Burial will be at the family lot in Homeland Cemetery in Bristol, NH

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
