Lakeport-----Robert C. Jesseman, Sr., 79, formerly of 9 Park Street, Lakeport, died at the Mt. Ridge Healthcare Center, Franklin on Monday, February 6, 2006.
Mr. Jesseman was born July 1, 1926 in Laconia, NH, the son of Ralph and Violet (Page) Jesseman and lived in Laconia most of his life. Mr. Jesseman served in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was employed at Scott & Williams in Laconia for many years before moving to New Jersey. From 1964-1978, he was Head of Maintenance at Princeton University. When he returned to Laconia, he was employed at Win-Door Glass Company in Lakeport.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah J. Jesseman, of Laconia; three sons, Robert C. Jesseman, Jr. of Seattle, Washington, Leon R. Jesseman of Laconia and Thomas S. Jesseman of Gilford; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Roland C. Jesseman, of Laconia and Albert Jesseman, of Indiana Town, Florida; four sisters, Barbara Bythrow of Hartland, Vermont, Beatrice Cowing of Epsom, NH, Beverly Gebhard of Lakeport, and Erlene Bryant of Live Oaks, Florida and many nephews and nieces.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 2:00PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. Rev. Charles Crook, Pastor of the Belmont Baptist Church, will officiate.
