Belmont-----Richard A. Guay, 46, of 5 Dawn Lane, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Monday, February 27, 2006
Mr. Guay was born January 17, 1960 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Shirley (Hurd) and Clifton R. Guay, Sr. He moved to Belmont, NH six years ago and had been employed as a chef at the Paugus Diner, Laconia. Mr. Guay enjoyed camping in York, Maine and the White Mountains and enjoyed NASCAR racing, all sports and reading and studying the Bible.
Survivors include his wife, Regina (Jacques) Guay, of Belmont; two sons, Benjamin Gurney and Marshall Gurney, both of Belmont; a stepson, Evan Gigas, of Maryland; a stepdaughter, Serene Eastman, of Gilford; three granddaughters; his mother, Shirley Crockett, of Belmont; a brother, Clifton R. Guay, Jr., and his wife, Joanne, of Meredith Center; numerous aunts and uncles and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Clifton Guay, Sr.
According to his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one’s own favorite charity.
