Laconia, NH-----Jean R. Dupuis, 65, of 21 Academy Square, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2006. She was the widow of Norman D. Dupuis who died August 24, 2005.

Mrs. Dupuis was born February 18, 1940 in Mansonville, P.Q., Canada, the daughter of Ephrem and Rose A. (Austin) Lapre. She lived in Mansonville until moving to Laconia in 1955.

Mrs. Dupuis was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was employed at Genesis Behavioral Health for several years.

Survivors include four sons, Edward and his wife, Joanne, of Hillsborough, Robert and his wife, Pamela, of Leominster, MA, Richard and his significant other, Brandy Cilley, of Ormond Beach, Florida and Rowdy and his wife, Tammy, of Derby, VT; ten grandchildren, Michael, Billy, Dean, Nicolas, Camille, Adam, Richard II, Mathew Woodworth, Aaron and Chad; two great grandchildren; a brother, Theophile Lapre, of Holderness; a sister, Elizabeth Blair, of Orleans, VT and several nephews and nieces.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, NH by Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church.

Spring burial will be in the family lot in St. Theresa’s Cemetery, Orleans, Vermont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
