Laconia——-Mrs. Dorothy O’Dougherty, 74, of 765 Union Avenue, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Friday, April 12, 2002.
Mrs. O’Dougherty was born December 20, 1927 in Keene, NH, the daughter of Walter B. and Lottie (Wilcox) French. She was employed at Prince Shoe for a number of years. Mrs. O’Dougherty was a former member of the Franklin Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include her husband, Larry O’Dougherty of Laconia: a stepson, Matt Howard of Gilford; one brother, Paul French of New Hampton and a sister, Beverly Fair of Sanford, Maine. She was predeceased by two brothers, Douglas French and Ernest French.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2002 from 1:00-2:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
