Florida, Orlando----George Reichert, 86, of 14005 Laurel Creek Road, and formerly of Laconia, NH died at his home in Florida on April 15, 2004. He was the widower of Mildred “Millie” A. Crycevich who died in 1987.
Mr. Reichert was born June 10, 1917 in New York City, the son of Hermann P. and Kunigunda Reichert. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Reichert was a long time resident of Laconia, NH before he moved to Florida in 1989. He was employed at Pike Industries for many years and also worked for Chadwick-BaRoss, Inc.
Survivors include two sons, George Reichert, Jr. of Casselberry, Florida and Richard Reichert of Decatur, Alabama; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Roger “Bud” Laurent of Belmont, NH; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one niece. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Hermann Reichert, Jr.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at 11:00AM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
