Belmont----Robert E. Levoy, 72 of 163 Brown Hill Road died at his home Friday April 30, 2004 with his family, following his battle with lung cancer.
He was born June 26, 1931 in Berlin, NH and was adopted by the Levoy family of Belknap Mountain Road in Gilford.
He was a decorated Army veteran of the Korean War.
He had been employed at Scott & Williams in Laconia for many years and later worked for TECO Corp., Webster Valve and lastly for Continental Machine of Andover.
He was an extremely independent man even to the end. He loved and was loved deeply by his family.
Survivors include 2 daughters Donna Sanborn and Debra Plante both of Laconia; a son Robert Levoy, II of Laconia; 3 grandchildren Jennifer Levoy, Benjamin Sanborn and Joshua Sanborn and his wife Faith and their unborn child; a sister Alice Lavertue all of Laconia.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday May 5, 2004 from 6-8 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
According to Bob’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
